Job Description
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer with expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) to design, develop, and implement scalable automation and service delivery solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical development skills with deep understanding of IT service frameworks and enterprise operations. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize solutions within ITOM and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow mandatory).
- Implement integrations between ITSM/ITOM tools and external systems via APIs, web services, and other interfaces.
- Configure and extend ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
- Develop ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration, Cloud Management, and CMDB enrichment.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across CMDB and related systems.
Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and service delivery teams to automate operational processes. - Participate in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, and code reviews.
Maintain and enhance workflows, business rules, UI policies, and custom scripts. - Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support for junior developers and administrators.
Stay current with ITOM/ITSM best practices, emerging technologies, and vendor updates.
Required:
- Bachelor / masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in ITSM / ITOM development or administration. - Proficiency with at least one major ITSM platform (ServiceNow).
- Strong scripting experience (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, or GlideScript).
- Solid understanding of CMDB design, data modeling, and dependency mapping.
- Experience integrating ITSM/ITOM tools with monitoring, cloud, or asset systems (e.g., SolarWinds, Azure, AWS, Dynatrace).
Knowledge of ITIL processes and how they map ITSM tools.
