Job Description
What does a successful Senior DevSecOps Engineer do
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Fiserv, you will be essential in enhancing our software delivery processes, improving system reliability, and fostering a collaborative DevOps culture. You will help build better systems and products on distributed on-prem infrastructure and play a critical role in automating workflows, ensuring system reliability, and driving efficiency throughout the CI/CD/CT.
What you will do:
- Define and implement DevOps practices including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Architect and optimize cloud applications for scalability including Pipeline, Network, caching, compute optimizations, and robust load balancing setups
- Understanding the project requirements and project KPIs
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
- Hands on experiencein Rest API, APIGEE APIM, Microservices, Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, GKE, Gitlab /GitHub, Harness/Argo CD Pipeline.
- Setting up tools and required infrastructure
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
What you will need to Have:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps on distributed on-prem and cloud environment
- 5+ years of IT development or consulting or implementation of services.
- 5+ years of experience on Linux based infrastructure
- 5+ years of systems architecture, cloud services, and microservices architectures.
- Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform services such as Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Build, Secret Management, Docker and Container Registry
- Excellent hands-on experience in the scripting language Python/Groovy/Perl, JavaScript and Java to write the pipeline.
- Hands-on experience in various automation tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab as continuous integration, GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket as SCM, Harness as continuous deployment, Ansible, chef and puppet, Cobertura, Maven Plugins, Sonar, Jasmine, ServiceNow and Confluence.
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible .
- Hands-onexperience with continuous integration and delivery using public cloud such as Azure, GCP and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker is required.
- Excellent Working knowledge on automation testing tool postman, LoadRunner/Selenium, Ready API.
- Configuration and managing databases such as Mongo.
- Excellent in troubleshooting
