A Steward is responsible for ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth service operations in food and beverage areas. The role supports wait staff and kitchen teams to deliver a pleasant dining experience to guests.
Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, kitchen, and service areas
Clear tables, collect used dishes, and transport them to the washing area
Wash, clean, and store utensils, crockery, and cutlery properly
Assist waiters and kitchen staff during peak service hours
Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal
Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
Refill water, bread, condiments, and service items as required
Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
Support setup and closing duties of the outlet
Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a helpful attitude
Good physical stamina
Basic communication skills
