Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The incumbent would be responsible for supporting Business for financial planning & analysis and allied activities in Finance Department
- Collaborating with the department on pre-bid stage reviews and reporting.
- Owning the contract management system and identifying key risk areas.
- Coordinating with Project Teams for P&L preparation, review, and validation.
- Performing month-on-month variance analysis with detailed explanations.
- Engaging with Project Managers to create MIS reports on current project status.
- Initiating and monitoring the annual business planning exercise.
- Working with the regional sales team to prepare projected new business numbers and resource requirements for upcoming quarters.
- Analyzing delivery and sales data trends and sharing insights through reports.
- Managing transactional-level activities across all aspects of business finance.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through workshops, professional literature, networking, and participation in relevant professional forums.
Preferred candidate profile
- The candidate should hold an MBA, Chartered Accountant qualification, or an equivalent degree in Finance.
- Should have 5 to 8 years of experience in quantitative analysis and business economics, with strong exposure to financial planning.
- Prior understanding of project management and its financial implications will be an added advantage.
- Must have hands-on experience with accounting software and reporting tools.
- Should demonstrate a strong First Time Right mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
