Job Description
Role & responsibilities
1. Execute, supervise, and monitor electrical and HVAC installation, operation, and maintenance activities.
2. Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and GMP requirements during all
project and maintenance work.
3. Plan and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of AHU, FCU, VRV/VRF, split AC,
ventilation systems, panels, and electrical utilities.
4. Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and vendor documents for accuracy and site
feasibility.
5. Manage contractors and vendors, including work execution, quality checks, billing verification, and
progress monitoring.
6. Troubleshoot electrical faults, HVAC performance issues, and utility failures to ensure minimum
downtime.
7. Support project execution, retrofitting, and facility upgrades related to electrical and HVAC systems.
8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as production, QA, EHS, and engineering for smooth
operations
Preferred candidate profile
The candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems (LT panels, MCCs, UPS, DG,
earthing, and lighting) and HVAC systems including AHU, FCU, VRV/VRF, split AC, ventilation, chilled water,
and cleanroom concepts.
Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, GMP and
safety compliance, drawing/BOQ review, load and heat calculations, energy optimization, and project
execution with vendor coordination is essential.
