Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise AI & Cloud Administration
- Gemini Enterprise Orchestration: oversee the end-to-end configuration and management of Gemini Enterprise instances, ensuring high availability and optimal performance across global business units.
- Google Code Assist Management: Administer Google Code Assist implementation, defining policy controls, integrating with development workflows, and managing extension access to boost developer productivity securely.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: maintain and optimize the underlying Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources that support our AI and legacy workloads.
- User Lifecycle & Access Management
- Manage complex user lifecycles, from provisioning to de-provisioning, ensuring the principle of least privilege is applied across Gemini, Code Assist, and GCP.
- Configure and audit Granular Access Control policies to segregate sensitive data and restrict AI interactions based on organizational roles and security clearance.
- FinOps & Cost Optimization
- Strategic FinOps: Champion financial accountability for cloud and AI usage. Monitor quotas, analyze billing trends, and implement budget alerts.
- Resource Optimization: Proactively identify underutilized resources or inefficient AI query patterns and recommend architectural changes to maximize ROI and reduce unnecessary spend.
- Security & Compliance
- Data Protection: Implement rigorous security protocols for AI interactions, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules, context-aware access, and trust rules to prevent IP leakage.
- Audit & Governance: specific focus on monitoring audit logs for anomaly detection, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations
- Project Management
- Lead technical projects related to AI adoption, version upgrades, and integration of new Google Workspace features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project roadmaps, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery of infrastructure improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Administration, IT Operations, or a related field, with a proven track record in managing enterprise-grade environments.
- Core Technical Competencies:
- Deep expertise in Google Gemini Enterprise administration and configuration.
- Proven experience administering Google Code Assist (formerly Duet AI for Developers), including IDE integration and policy management.
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration (IAM, Compute, Storage, Networking).
- Solid understanding of FinOps principles, including billing analysis, cost allocation, and capacity planning.
- Certification: Professional Google Gemini Admin Certification (or equivalent expert-level validation in Google Cloud/Workspace AI).
