Job Description
Experience : 14 to 18 years
Strategic Role
Develop and implement strategic plans for project billing and planning.
Align billing and planning activities with project objectives.
Identify and mitigate risks in billing and planning operations.
Functional Role
Establish and maintain billing procedures in compliance with contracts.
Ensure accurate measurement and verification of work done.
Streamline material reconciliation and cost control.
Operational Role
Oversee billing preparation, submission, and certification processes.
Ensure timely and correct generation of IPCs and RA bills.
Monitor sub-contractor billing, verification, and coordination.
Planning Role
Develop work programs, schedules, and resource planning.
Track progress against planned schedules and update stakeholders.
Integrate planning with cost control and budgetary targets.
Monitoring Role
Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports are prepared and submitted.
Monitor productivity and recommend improvements for cost efficiency.
Review project performance against benchmarks and suggest corrective actions.
Coordination Role
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for smooth billing and planning.
Coordinate with procurement, finance, and site teams for project execution.
Manage disputes related to billing, planning, and material reconciliation.
Execution Role
Ensure timely execution of billing processes without disputes.
Implement effective strategies for cost control and resource optimization.
Work closely with site teams to resolve execution bottlenecks.
Technical Role
Interpret drawings, BOQs, and contract documents accurately.
Ensure proper quantity surveying, estimation, and verification of works.
Implement advanced tools and software for planning and billing.
Financial & Budgeting Role
Prepare and review budgets for billing, material reconciliation, and project planning.
Ensure accurate cost allocation and forecast financial needs.
Verify subcontractor and vendor invoices for correctness and compliance.
Safety & Compliance Role
Ensure all billing and planning activities adhere to safety and quality regulations.
Maintain compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
Conduct audits for billing accuracy and material reconciliation.
Team Management Role
Lead a team of billing engineers, planners, and quantity surveyors.
Conduct training programs to enhance team capabilities.
Assign roles and responsibilities to ensure seamless workflow.
Documentation Role
Maintain accurate records of work done, payments, and contractual correspondence.
Ensure all billing and planning documentation is up to date and audit-ready.
Coordinate with legal and finance teams for contractual documentation.
Risk Management & Problem-Solving Role
Identify potential risks in billing and planning and develop mitigation strategies.
Resolve disputes related to billing discrepancies and claims.
Provide analytical insights to improve billing efficiency and accuracy.
