Job Description
- Lead complete lifecycle management of reusable rocket projects from concept, design, testing, and qualification to launch readiness.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation strategies
- Coordinate with propulsion, structures, avionics, GNC, manufacturing, testing, and supply chain teams
- Monitor project milestones, technical reviews, and system integration checkpoints
- Ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
- Manage vendor partnerships and critical component procurement timelines
- Conduct regular stakeholder updates and technical review meetings
- Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies
- Drive cost optimization and schedule efficiency while maintaining performance standards
- Support launch campaign planning and post-flight analysis for reusable systems
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
- 306 years of experience in aerospace, launch vehicles, aviation, defense, or high-complexity engineering projects
- Strong understanding of rocket propulsion, structural systems, systems engineering, and
- Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Jira, or similar)
- Knowledge of aerospace development lifecycle, TRL progression, and configuration control processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience in reusable launch vehicle programs
- Exposure to static fire testing, stage recovery systems, or launch operations
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and space industry compliance standards
- Strategic thinking and decision-making
- Risk management and problem-solving
- Cross-functional leadership
- Technical understanding of launch vehicle systems
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
