Job Description Load Balancer Engineer (F5 LTM, GTM & AVI)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Load Balancer Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in F5 BIG-IP LTM, F5 GTM (DNS/GSLB) and Avi Load Balancer (VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer). The role involves designing, implementing, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise-scale load balancing solutions to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and resiliency of business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage enterprise load balancing solutions using F5 BIG-IP and AVI Load Balancer
- Implement highly available and scalable application delivery architectures
- Provide L2/L3 operational support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis
- Perform performance tuning, health monitoring, and traffic optimization
- Support application onboarding, migrations, upgrades, and DR activities
- Work closely with application, network, security, and infrastructure teams
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and runbooks
- Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities

Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 68 years of experience in load balancer technologies
- Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM
- Strong hands-on experience with F5 GTM / DNS
- Hands-on experience with AVI / VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS
- Experience in enterprise production environments
Good to Have
- Automation using Ansible, REST APIs, or Terraform
- Exposure to cloud load balancers (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- ITIL-based operations experience
Certifications (Preferred)
- F5 Certified Administrator (201)
- F5 CTS LTM
- VMware NSX / AVI certifications
