Job Description

We are creating a scalable multi-agent platform that combines LLM reasoning, knowledge retrieval, orchestration, backend integrations, workflow automation, and modern engineering.practices across a hybrid architecture of Node.js services, Java applications, Muse UI plugins,and Python-based ingestion pipelines .

Design and build agentic AI capabilities for a core help domain (multi-step reasoning, tool calling, state management, safe automation) end-to-end. Develop and maintain backend components/APIs using Node.js/TypeScript and Java (Spring/Spring Boot); contribute to Muse UI and Python ingestion where needed. Implement RAG and fine-tuned LLM workflows to ground agent reasoning with policy, transaction data, and internal knowledge sources. Build scalable services that integrate with eBay systems; drive observability/monitoring/testing; ensure operational excellence in production. Define guardrails, fallback logic, and safety patterns for compliance, privacy, auditability, and trustworthy automation. Partner with Product, Data, Knowledge, Risk, CX, and Security to define agent behavior, success metrics, and continuous improvement loops. Create feature designs and test plans; break features into sub-tasks; proactively remove blockers and drive on-time delivery.
