About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Card Tester - Functional Tester to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cards domain testing, including functional validation of card transactions, payment flows, and card management systems. Exposure to automation tools will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing for card systems, including debit/credit card transactions, authorization flows, account linking, and card lifecycle processes.
- Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases for card domain functionalities.
- Perform endtoend testing across card platforms, payment gateways, and integrations.
- Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
- Participate in regression testing cycles and support UAT activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for card systems.
Required Skills
- 35 years of hands-on experience in Card Domain Testing (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of:
- Card lifecycle management (issuance activation transactions closure)
- EMV, magnetic stripe, tokenization (good to have)
- Payment networks, preferred
- Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Good-to-Have Skills (Preferable)
Experience or working knowledge of automation tools such as:
- Selenium
- Python
- BrowserStack
- API Testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) optional but beneficial
