Overview
We are seeking a Data Strategy & Analytics Associate to join a dynamic team responsible for delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions at pace. You will play a pivotal role in supporting data and migration efforts within Operations, contributing to transformation and change programs, and ensuring our solutions are innovative, well-designed, and aligned with our mission: build things better and build better things.
Role Summary
As an Associate, you will:
- Drive metrics and analysis around manual process, requirement gathering, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with Operational teams and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
- Support data-driven process re-engineering, cost optimization, and risk transparency using advanced analytics tools.
- Partner with global business and risk leaders to embed analytics-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with large, complex datasets from varied systems to derive meaningful insights.
- Gather, understand, and document business requirements for data and analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with technology teams to explain requirements, test solutions, and perform user testing alongside Operations Leads.
- Interact with other technology teams for system enhancements and inputs.
- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring quality output within prescribed timelines.
- Communicate progress to senior management and escalate issues as needed.
- Liaise globally with technology and operations teams to identify potential re-use and best practices.
- Adhere to key control, regulatory, and audit standards.
- Identify manual touchpoints across operations and establish root causes.
- Develop and integrate tactical solutions using digital tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Python, AI/ML Tools within
- Create robust controls and governance around automation solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent skills in data analysis, data mining, and system analysis.
- Strong business knowledge in Investment Banking, including product, process, and system knowledge; sound understanding of the trade lifecycle.
- Ability to drive results through a hands-on approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at communicating with all levels of business and technical teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and prioritize work accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with tools like Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Python, AI/ML Toolkits
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to support teammates and stakeholders in making sound decisions.
- Proven project management skills, particularly in client and operational readiness.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and continuously improving practices.
