Sr. Medical Coder | IPDRG Coding

WFO Hyderabad

5 days working

Inpatient (IP DRG) Coder (Mid-Level)

CPC/CCS/CIC Certified

Experience: 3-5 years of inpatient (IP DRG) coding experience
Coding Scope: Codes moderately complex inpatient charts, including common medical and surgical cases
Supervision: Works independently with minimal guidance; subject to routine quality audits
Typical Responsibilities:
DRG validation and optimization
Identification of relevant comorbidities and complications (CC/MCC)
Ensuring adherence to official coding and compliance guidelines
Tools & Systems: Proficient in coding encoders, EMRs, and official coding reference materials
Parallon exp. is preferable.
