Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in database development, performance tuning, and complex query optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient PL/SQL code to support business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies
- Analyze and troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Work closely with application developers and business teams to understand requirements
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with database standards
- Participate in database design, data modeling, and schema management
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Support deployment, release management, and production issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Experience in performance tuning and query optimization
- Good understanding of RDBMS concepts and data modeling
- Experience with database design and normalization techniques
- Familiarity with tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ETL processes or data migration
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Exposure to reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Full-time mandatory)
