Job Description
Product Gold Procurement (03 Positions)
Role & responsibilities
1. Receive and consolidate jewellery order requirements for the specified region.
2. Place purchase orders with approved vendors and ensure timely order processing and delivery.
3. Coordinate with vendors for order confirmations, production timelines, and dispatch updates.
4. Work with vendors to develop and source new jewellery designs based on market trends and showroom requirements.
5. Request and review new design samples from vendors for potential inclusion in collections.
6. Conduct pilot testing of new designs in select showrooms and monitor customer response and sales performance.
7. Track product movement and prepare re-order reports for fast-moving designs and collections.
8. Analyze order percentages and sales movement to support procurement and replenishment planning.
9. Prepare and maintain daily and weekly procurement reports, including order status, sales movement, and re-order requirements.
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors through regular communication and periodic meetings.
Product Gold - Assortment (05 Positions)
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Understand product requirements from showrooms based on sales trends and demand.
2. Allocate and supply jewellery designs to showrooms based on assortment planning.
3. Monitor showroom stock levels and identify excess or slow-moving inventory.
4. Plan and execute product replenishment to ensure availability of fast-moving designs.
5. Analyze ageing stock in showrooms and coordinate corrective actions.
6. Continuously monitor inventory levels to maintain balanced stock across locations.
7. Support planning and rollout of new products and jewellery collections.
8. Coordinate internal teams for stock supply and planning.
9. Manage corporate stock, including proper handling and record maintenance.
10. Coordinate sending and receiving of jewellery for hallmarking and ensure stock tallies are accurate.
Preferred candidate profile
Minimum One year experience in Jewellery sales / backend Operations
Willing to work in Chennai, Royapettah
