As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic work environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code for multiple clients. Your day will involve collaborating with team members to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions, while also performing maintenance and enhancements to existing applications. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code and contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.Roles Responsibilities:Java Spring Boot Role Expectations
- Strong hands-on experience in Java 8+, OOP, Collections, Streams, Functional Interfaces, Multithreading, Executor Framework, ConcurrentHashMap, JVM basics.
- Solid expertise in Spring Boot (Actuator, Profiles, MVC, AOP, Security, Batch).
- Ability to build consume REST APIs, handle validations, exception handling, idempotent requests.
- Good knowledge of Microservices architecture (service registry, API gateway, circuit breaker, JWT security, client/server-side load balancing).
- Experience with Messaging systems Kafka (Pub-Sub PTP concepts).
- Proficiency in Unit Testing with JUnit/Mockito and enforcing test quality.
- Strong understanding of SQL NoSQL (joins, indexes, sharding, ACID, tuning).
- Hands-on with JPA/Hibernate, entity lifecycle, transactions.
- Knowledge of caching (Redis or in-memory), eviction strategies.
- Familiarity with Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize APIs/queries.Soft Skills

- Proficiency in Spring Boot.

- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
- Understanding of database management and SQL.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 0-2 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
