Software Engineer - Java Backend Developer @ Careernet

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in user story grooming and prepare technical designs and API specifications aligned with standards.
• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable microservices-based architectures.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards.
• Identify and escalate technical blockers during sprint cycles and collaborate with architects to resolve them.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects identified during SIT and UAT phases.
• Use CI/CD tools to build, test, and deploy applications efficiently.
• Perform API testing and ensure service reliability and performance.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and promote effective team collaboration.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java and backend application development.
• Hands-on experience building microservices using Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
