Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
- Cisco ACI Design and Implementation: Design, plan, and implement Cisco ACI solutions based on business requirements. Configure and deploy ACI fabrics, policies, and application profiles. Configure Tenant, BD, Contracts in ACI.
- Network Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced-level support for network-related issues, including ACI-related incidents. Troubleshoot and resolve network problems in collaboration with the network operations team.
- Policy Management: Implement and manage policies and security controls within the Cisco ACI fabric. Ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices.
- Network Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and enhance network efficiency. Work towards creating a self-service model for network provisioning and management.
- Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning for the Cisco ACI infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Monitor and analyze network traffic patterns and resource utilization.
- Network Routing & Switching
Good-to-Have
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for Cisco ACI configurations, changes, and procedures. Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine tasks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, including system administrators, security professionals, and application developers. Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate ACI with other technologies.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and other IT staff. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to Cisco ACI.
