Job Description:
  • We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manual Testing Consultant to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality analysis and manual testing, with a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 9 years of experience in the field. This role requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology, and a passion for ensuring software quality through meticulous testing practices.

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand software features and provide feedback on the usability and functionality.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and provide input on testability of requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of test results, defects, and testing processes.
  • Work closely with other QA team members to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Assist in regression testing and perform re-testing of resolved defects.
  • Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies and tools to enhance QA processes.

    • Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology is required.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in manual testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in designing and executing test cases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools is a plus.
