The Role
As a Civil Designer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc
- Develop and manage 3D structural models using Tekla Structures for civil and industrial projects.
- Prepare Structural Steel / Concrete GA drawings, and reinforcement detailing.
- Experience in shop drawings and fabrication drawings will be added advantage.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with design.
- Perform clash detection, model validation, and quality checks to maintain project integrity.
- Generate material take-offs (MTOs), BOQs, and reports from Tekla models.
- Ensure adherence to international codes and standards (IS, AISC, BS, Eurocodes, etc.).
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within timelines.
- Provide technical support during fabrication and construction phases.
- Maintain and update project documentation and revision control.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor s degree/Diploma/Certificate course in Drafting / Modeling.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Tekla Structures in civil/structural projects.
- Strong knowledge of steel structures, concrete structures, and rebar detailing.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and integration with other design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working in reputed engineering, EPC, or construction companies.
