Job Description
Data Analyst Power BI Developer
The Power BI developer will support maintenance of existing and development of new dashboards. This role focuses on creating both front and back end of the dashboard. The analyst will work closely with client stakeholders to get business requirements and ensure development meets requirements, timelines and are of high quality.
What Youll Do:
As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining highquality dashboards and analytical solutions that enable datadriven decisionmaking. You will work across the full analytics lifecyclefrom understanding business requirements to delivering scalable, reliable, and visually compelling dashboards.
You will:
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports by translating business requirements into intuitive, userfriendly visualizations that clearly communicate insights and trends.
- Build and manage data models using Power BI, DAX, and SQL, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability across large, multisource datasets.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines by integrating data from multiple sources, validating data quality, and resolving data issues proactively.
- Maintain and enhance existing dashboards by implementing enhancements, performance optimizations, and standardization best practices.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify analytical needs, and ensure solutions meet business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Perform data validation and diagnostics to assess data integrity, identify anomalies, and ensure analytical outputs are reliable and decisionready.
- Document dashboards, datasets, and processes to ensure transparency, reusability, and ease of knowledge transfer.
- Contribute to operational excellence by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and reuse across reporting and analytics solutions.
What Youll Bring
Technical Skills
- Advanced Power BI expertise: Dashboard development, advanced DAX, data modeling, performance tuning, and deployment best practices.
- Advanced SQL & data analysis: Strong SQL skills for querying, data validation, and working with large, multisource datasets.
- Intermediate Data modeling & pipelines: Experience building scalable data models, integrating multiple data sources, and ensuring data quality and reliability.
Core Skills & Experience
- 23 years of experience in business dashboard development
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create backend and validate datasets
- Experience in preparing executive-ready dashboard designs.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially when translating analytics into business insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with client stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests and priorities.
Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
