Job Description
About Position:
We are looking for a Python Developer with Mirth (NextGen Connect) experience to design, develop, and support healthcare integration solutions. The role involves working with HL7 interfaces, healthcare data exchanges, and custom integrations using Python and Mirth Connect across clinical systems.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain interfaces using Mirth Connect (NextGen)
- Build and support HL7 v2.x, CCD, and other healthcare message formats
- Develop API and data processing components using Python
- Configure channels, transformers, filters, and connectors in Mirth
- Integrate EMR/EHR systems, labs, billing, and clinical applications
- Process healthcare messages using TCP/IP, HTTP(S), FTP, Web Services
- Perform message validation, routing, transformation, and error handling
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and ETL
- Troubleshoot interface failures and production issues
- Maintain interface documentation and technical specifications
- Provide L2/L3 production support for integration solutions
- Work with clinical, business, and technical teams to gather requirements
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and security guidelines
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
