Job Description
1. Conduct API Penetration Testing on client applications and infrastructure.
2. Perform security assessments on CI/CD pipelines and identify vulnerabilities in deployment workflows.
3. Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation of security testing and reporting tasks.
4. Work with VS Code/VS Studio for code review, debugging, and security tool integration.
5. Understand and implement security best practices within DevOps and DevSecOps environments.
6. Conduct manual and automated security testing of APIs using industry-standard tools (Burp Suite, Postman, etc.).
7. Document and report vulnerabilities with clear remediation guidance for development teams.
8. Collaborate with client teams to understand API architecture, authentication mechanisms, and data flows.
9. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and provide guidance to junior team members on API security.
10. Stay updated on emerging API security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
11. Review and validate security configurations in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
12. Support integration of security tools within CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA).
13. Provide detailed security assessment reports to client stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
14. Communicate effectively with client teams strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
