Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate, timely solutions.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data integrity.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Document processes, methodologies, and findings for transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously improve reporting frameworks and recommend enhancements to data collection and analysis processes.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Support business teams with data-driven insights and recommendations
Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree in engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
- 24 years of hands-on experience in data analytics or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (dashboard creation, DAX, data modelling)
- Solid understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and visualisation techniques
- Good knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of other BI tools (Power BI) is a special plus
- Understanding of business intelligence and reporting best practices
