Job Description
Supporting the monthly close, day-to-day management of financial operations, prepare and distribute reports to key decision makers, and assist in special and strategic projects. Ensure all monthly financial reporting and analysis is delivered timely and accurately to facilitate decision making by the management.
Key Result Areas:
- Help tap data resources within Microsoft Fabric tool to build better Power BI reporting capabilities
- Develop and maintain various dashboards (in Power BI) for reporting processes
- Support the Finance team in the monthly close and financial reporting process.
- Review, analyze and interpret monthly financials, and provide variance analysis to the Ratings Reporting team.
- Support the budget and estimate process for revenue and expense items
- Assist with preparation of presentations for Global Rating Services (GRS) senior leadership team and EMEA office heads.
- Assist with ad hoc requests, special projects, and other direct support to the Ratings Finance team on need basis.
- Perform ad hoc analyses as requested to help management make informed decisions regarding the short- and long-term objectives of the business.
Key Skills:
- Strong Power BI experience within finance domain, Coding/scripting knowledge will be an advantage
- Previous experience of incorporating Microsoft Fabric capabilities into finance reporting will be a big advantage
- Knowledge of Alteryx, Smartview, Power query is preferred,
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrate analytical capabilities necessary to provide the leadership team with the accurate and insightful interpretation of financial information.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions for operational and financial problems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a fully contributing member of a team.
