As A successful Product Manager must be passionate about building products that customers love. This role works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and works with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products aligned with the companys vision and strategy.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Clearly understand the market, focusing on the needs of your products end users.
Communicate and clarify your products vision and strategy.
Create and update a comprehensive roadmap of value-add features based on input from external and internal stakeholders.
Lead the prioritization process, scoping submitted feature requests into planned releases.
Schedule and lead collaboration calls with customers, identifying the features that will deliver the most value.
Set release milestones and guide the product launch processes, managing cross-product dependencies when needed.
Collect qualitative feedback and analyze quantitative usage metrics to understand how users are engaging with your product.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships at multiple levels within the company, including with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Systems Administration, Marketing, Customer Relationships, and Product Support.
Provide regular product status updates to Product Management leadership as well as to key cross-functional partners.
Work with a Product Owner to gather and document business requirements, clarifying the associated customer need and value proposition.
Work with the Marketing and Customer Relationships team to collect and analyze feedback received during industry conferences, on-site visits, sales calls, etc.
Work with Product Support and Training teams to write product documentation as needed.
Participate in efforts to improve software development life cycle processes.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Science or related field preferred.
Equivalent and relevant work experience considered.
Previous experience in clinical research or healthcare technology a plus.
Experience with agile/scrum preferred.
Innate curiosity about users, workflows, and systems.
Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and understand the necessary components of a solution through planning, cost/benefit analysis, testing and reporting.
Excellent communication skills, including listening, writing, and speaking. Must demonstrate the ability to
explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Effective technical writing skills, including previous experience creating product roadmaps or project plans.
Ability to lead customer-facing group requirement sessions with confidence and conciseness.
Ability to identify the required stakeholders throughout design, development, and implementation processes.
Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and build consensus with various internal and external audiences.
Demonstrated accountability in project ownership.
Willingness to embrace and drive change.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient in email.
