Job Description
Requirements
Must have:
- Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have 1-3 years experience in supply chain/sourcing.
- Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence others and drive small projects.
- Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Show effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Have analytical and organizational ability.
- Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Fluently speak in English and show excellent oral and written communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of different ERPs desirable SAP, ARIBA, Oracle, Pascal
- Microsoft Office working knowledge of Office offerings, including Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Excel desirable.
Responsabilities:
- Leading Sourcing activities for Indirect commodities, driving cost savings, working closely with Product Lines, Commodity Managers and Region Leads to identify and enable most effective suppliers to meet quality, lead time, inventory and margin expectations
- Execution of Request for Information / Quotation / information / Proposal , and bidding processes, minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and total cost of ownership
- Supporting multiple stakeholders within the regions in sourcing Indirect commodities
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
- Supporting business objectives such as carbon reduction, supplier diversity and cash improvements
- Managing commercial sourcing, such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc.
- Assisting with Purchase orders in Ariba and helping to set up suppliers in HICX
- Liaison with BuyDesk as appropriate to expedite and advise
