Job Description
Role: Power BI Developer
Location: Bangalore/Pune
Analyst( 1-3Yrs)
Senior Analyst (3+yrs)
Shift: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Optimize data models and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Work on ETL processes and integrate data from multiple sources.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
Expertise in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and ETL processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Should be able to work as an individual contributor and maintain good relationship with stakeholders. Should
be proactive to learn new skills per business requirement. Familiar with extraction of relevant data, cleanse and
transform data into insights that drive business value, through use of data analytics, data visualization and data
modeling techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Technical Bachelors Degree.
Non-Technical Degree holders should have 3+ years of relevant experience.
PREFERRED SKILLS
MUST HAVE:
Should have EXCELLENT knowledge on:
- Strong MS PowerBI skills.
- Hands-on experience in MS Azure SQL Database.
- Excellent knowledge of ETL packages using Visual Studio or Informatica.
- Data analysis, Business analysis
- Database management and reporting (SQL & MS Azure SQL)
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
- Review and validate customer data as its collected
- Oversee the deployment of data to the data warehouse
- Cooperate with IT department to deploy software and hardware upgrades that make it possible to leverage big data use cases
- Monitor analytics and metrics results
- Implement new data analysis methodologies
- Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Good to have: Python/R
