Job Title: Trade Support / Reference Data Analyst
Location: Chennai
Experience: 1 to 4 Years
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of securities reference data and trade lifecycle to support investment banking operations. The role involves managing trade processes, ensuring data accuracy, and handling SWIFT messaging across multiple financial products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage securities reference data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity
- Support end-to-end trade lifecycle activities including trade capture, validation, settlement, and reporting
- Process and monitor SWIFT messages (MT54X, MT3XX, MT202, MT210, MT103)
- Handle trade-related queries, breaks, and exceptions, ensuring timely resolution
- Coordinate with internal teams, custodians, and counterparties for smooth trade processing
- Ensure adherence to SLA timelines, operational controls, and regulatory requirements
- Identify process gaps and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of securities reference data and trade lifecycle
- Good product knowledge across Listed Securities, Money Market, and Derivatives
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Eligibility:
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking Operations / Trade Support / Reference Data
