Job Title: Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Experience: 4.5 to 7 Years

Location: Bangalore

Role Summary

Synechron is looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer with strong handson experience in Snowflake, DBT, AWS, and Apache Airflow to build and support scalable, cloudnative data platforms. The role focuses on designing ELT pipelines, enabling analytics, and supporting enterprise data modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Designand build cloudnative data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS
• DevelopELT transformations using DBT with testing and documentation
• Buildand manage Airflow DAGs for orchestration and monitoring
• Optimizedata models and queries for performance and cost
• Ensuredata quality, security, and governance across pipelines
• Collaboratewith analytics and business teams to enable reporting and insights
• Supportcloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Participatein code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and technical design discussions

Required Skills

• 4.57years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering
• Stronghandson experience with Snowflake
• Experienceusing DBT for transformations and testing
• Solidknowledge of AWS cloud services (S3, IAM, Glue, etc.)
• Handsonexperience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• StrongSQL and Python skills
• Experienceworking with Apache ecosystem tools (Spark, NiFi, Hadoop any)

Good to Have

• Experiencewith CI/CD for data pipelines
• Exposureto Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Familiaritywith BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Domainexperience in BFSI, Healthcare, or Enterprise Data Platforms
