Job Description
What You Will Do :
- Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
Work with the Product Manager & architects to define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories
Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
Matrix-managing a multidisciplinary team
Strong experience in integration of softwares with OEM/Automative productline
What You Need :
- Perform feasibility, estimation, design, guide development/execution of connected car related software solutions to address business needs.
- Provide detailed architectural blueprints and technical leadership to our delivery and IT teams.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
- Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions.
- Interpret business requirements to articulate the business needs to be addressed.
- Troubleshoot critical functional and performance issues at components code level quickly and efficiently.
- Promote the use of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows.
- Ensures that enterprise systems and/or strategic projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies.
- Collaborate with other architects and provide a consensus-based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and synchronized with the ever-changing business needs.
- Manage risks associated with information and IT assets through the development, use and promotion of the appropriate standards and security policies.
- Work to settle architecture differences or conflicts existing across the various architecture layers in the enterprise.
- Work with various business and IT stakeholders to demonstrate and show business value of enterprise wide, shared infrastructure or to show value of any new strategic platforms being considered.
- Work with business and technical staff to capture and validate integration requirements for the project, using industry standard integration and SOA methodologies.
- Decide, document and enforces design decisions that have a broad impact.
- Write source material for white papers and user documentation of architecture.
- Communicate with customer representatives to set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Mentor developers & junior architects in best practices and encourage the flow of information and understanding amongst teams.
- Support pre-sales discussion by creating solution proposals and SOW updates. (BG1 & BG 2 )
- Expected to gain end to end understand of Ignite as an entire system including the core s/w components on cloud, device and mobile. Where required a H/w understanding of dongle offering may also be required.
- Front end customer discussions for new SOW proposal, CRs.
- Front end customer discussions to drive the Solution proposal for the ongoing projects.
- Coordinate and work with the Ignite products and customer team for solution discussions, proposal creations and may require driving the Ignite Product designs also.
- Mentor , support and device strategies for supporting production L3 issues.
Required Skills
- Master s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 10+ years experience designing and building scalable and distributes software applications.
- Deep knowledge of stream messaging concepts (Kafka, AWS Kinesis, etc.), stream data processing applications design (Kafka streams, AWS Lambda, etc.), efficient and scalable data storage solutions (MongoDB, HBase, AWS DynamoDB, etc.), SQL based systems (Oracle, AWS Redshift, etc.), web application development (Java webapp, Java Spring, etc.), API gateway principles (Apigee, AWS Gateway, etc.), security concepts like oAuth2/OICD.
- Proficiency with Java programming language and major Java frameworks (Spring, etc.).
