Our team is responsible for developing a modular rapid prototyping framework in which we can gain early feedback for machine learning models and related post processing algorithms. These algorithms are typically run-on high-performance GPUs, the task involves optimizing the algorithms themselves, while keeping a continuous effort to develop the framework itself. Your tasks are therefore:

• Deep Learning framework development for computer vision applications

• Implementation of visualization algorithms to qualitatively analyze the output of Machine Learning methods on PC platform

• Experimenting with advanced state of the art solutions for image processing.

• Collaboration with international development teams.

• Work of state-of-the-art neural network models for computer vision perception within ADAS portfolio (e-mirror, surround view, in-cabin monitoring, augmented reality)

• Work with big car data from a multitude of sensors

• Understand high complexity HW / SW System

• Development of SW components with high complexity in C++

• Debug existing C++ code, find root causes and resolve software issues

• Test your SW code on the target HW or in the target vehicle

• Create low-level software design

• Documentation of your work products

• Understanding and implementing customer requirements

• Direct contact with the largest car manufacturers

• Agile working method

• Select statistical, machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to solve filtering, clustering, and classification problems.

• Handle large-scale data sets and organization of relevant data

• Working closely with other senior machine learning researchers and engineers in autonomy

• As part of a matrix organization work with engineers, designers, testers and managers as needed to help integrate, evaluate and productize your solutions

• When needed, you will work with architects, engineers, designers, testers and managers in multiple locations as needed to help integrate and productize the solution

• Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results

• Elicitate, analysis, write and adapt software requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• No formal role, but expected to be a peer mentor to others in the group

What You Need:

• Bachelor s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics Communication or Electrical Electronics Engineering or related field combined with software engineering and data science experience.

• 5+ yrs. working in SW Engineering roles

• 2+ yrs. relevant experience working in the field of Surround View System Software solutions.

• Experience in software development for real-time embedded software with C++.

• Hands-on C++17, cmake

• Experience in OpenCV, OpenGL

• Familiarity with parallel computing, such as GPU/CUDA programming

• Experience with agile development methods

• ASPICE/SOTIF knowledge

• Experience with requirement management tools like ALM, Doors, Polarion.

• Ability to make team level decisions with little guidance.

• Good command over spoken English.

• Collaborative, open-minded, team player attitude.

What is Nice to Have

• Experience in ADAS feature development and verification

• Hands-on experience with CNNs, 3D CNNs, multi-task mobilnets

• Understanding of statistics with the usage of the programming language R

• Advanced knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Mahout, ELK

• Background in Human Factors and globally distributed teams

• Strong analytical skills together with high self-learning capabilities

• Worked on ADAS projects feature development (CMS, DMS, SV, ARP)

• Flexibility and creativity in solution design including leveraging emerging technologies

• Proven test management know-how (ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Manager or similar)

• Knowledge of software testing standards (IEEE / ISTQB)

• Knowledge and experience with ASPICE and automotive use cases and requirements

• knowledge of modern Software Engineering

• Advanced knowledge of Java and proven hands-on experience

• Android development experience
