- Job Summary Job Description Chief Manager - Data Visualization BPMA is the centralized business intelligence and analytics team and is tasked with providing critical information and insights needed to manage the business and drive data driven decisions. BPMA team is working on building a data culture, enabling data democratization, reducing information overload and equipping everyone with information / insights needed to excel in their roles. We are looking for a passionate leader to lead entire reporting for all distribution functions. You need to have a strong desire to lead change, drive efficiency, challenge the status quo and rationalize information overload. In this role, you will work closely with distribution leaders to understand key metrics, information needs and develop business intelligence products to cater to those needs. You will also define the strategy and roadmap for the team to accelerate our journey of becoming a data driven organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of storytelling strategies using Power BI to translate complex data into engaging narratives that align with the company's mission and objectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and executive leadership, to gather insights and craft narratives that support strategic initiatives. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key insights, trends, and performance metrics to stakeholders at all levels. Provide training to team members on best practices in data visualization and storytelling techniques, fostering a culture of data literacy across the organization. Tailor messaging and visual content for different audiences to ensure clarity and impact, enhancing engagement through targeted storytelling approaches. Analyze feedback and engagement metrics to refine storytelling techniques and dashboard designs, ensuring they meet evolving business needs. Educational Background Bachelor's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Application, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Experience Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or storytelling roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Proven experience using Power BI for data visualization is essential. Technical Skills Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and other analytical tools. Strong understanding of data modeling and database management is required. Technical proficiency in BI tech stack - PowerBI, SQL Server reporting services, SAP BO, etc. Well versed with data architecture / data warehousing / data lakes Desired Attributes Domain understanding of BFSI industry Passionate about data-driven storytelling and its impact on business outcomes. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on actionable insights. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail (ref:hirist.tech),
