Job Description
- Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in network security, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures. This role involves protecting our organization's network from threats, ensuring the integrity and availability of data, and providing expert guidance on security best practices. Key Responsibilities Network Security Design and Implementation : Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures. Evaluate and recommend security solutions, tools, and technologies. Monitoring and Incident Response : Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents. Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation. Proactive infrastructure monitoring and highlight gaps Firewall and VPN Management : Configure and manage Firewalls (Legacy & NGFW), VPNs, IDS/IPS, Proxy and other security appliances. Implement and maintain network access controls and encryption protocols. Collaboration and Training : Work closely with other infrastructure teams to ensure secure network integration. Stay updated with the latest security trends and threats. Qualifications Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus. Experience : 8-10 years of hands-on experience in network security. Proven experience in designing and implementing secure network architectures. Technical Skills : In-depth knowledge of firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo-Alto, FortiGate), VPNs (Remote and IPsec), IDS/IPS, Zscaler and encryption technologies. Understanding of various network protocols (switching & routing) preferable with Cisco, Arista and Juniper. Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus). Experience with cloud security (e.g., GCP, Azure) is a plus. Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and scripting languages (Ansible, Python, Bash). Certifications : Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, or similar are highly desirable. Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
