- About the role - Allegion India is seeking a highly motivated Software Systems Lead, who will work for Allegions next generation IoT software connecting Allegions electromechanical locks and access control systems for Residential and Commercial environments. In this role, you will be a key contributor to a team of cross-functional product development engineers by driving improvements to our IoT Software. What youll do- Provide high level estimates for delivering new functionality to inform business decisions Collaborate with product management, design, architecture, product security teams to elicit, decompose and manage technical requirements Identify, analyze and communicate program risks Lead Technical Design Reviews at all product development process milestones highlighting engineering progress, issues, and risks Lead the definition of interface control documents (ICDs) for Allegion software and embedded software Provide clear communication to technical team members as well as to other leaders and managers Lead the management of the scope throughout the development lifecycle What we are looking for- At least 5 years experience in IoT devices, access control, consumer products, automotive, aerospace, or medical You have experience in Systems Engineering processes including design by requirements, traceability, and verification and validation You have demonstrated experience leading project teams to deliver complex programs You bring strong engineering project management skills, including: planning and organization, stakeholder management, risk management, change management, and clear communication You can communicate effectively with both business leaders and development engineers You are self-directed with high initiative and high achievement goals You have knowledge of cybersecurity methods and protocols, experience with cloud service architectures (AWS, Azure) and mobile SDKs You can provide technical coaching and mentoring What we offer- Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if: You are seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
