The role is with one of the leading Medical Device Manufacturing MNC


THIS IS A CONTRACT ROLE ON THE PAYROLL OF KELLY SERVICES FOR A DURATION OF 1YR RENEWABLE ON PERFORMANCE BASIS


POSITION PURPOSE:

The Operations Generalist is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all logistics for the Commercial Capabilities teams. This person will be involved at various levels of the department's training programs, including planning, implementation, and day-to-day operation, analysis and working on learning systems. This position requires ongoing collaboration with a variety of individuals and departments to ensure all Commercial Learning + Development clients have the required tools and information to access our development resources. Responsibilities include the administration of several other learning platforms such as LMS and a meetings app.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule live and virtual training classes including coordination of speakers, lunches and set-up of facilities
  • Arrange travel, lodging and meals for prospective trainees
  • Provide detailed logistics reports to training managers
  • Communicate plans and activities to sales representatives, sales managers, marketing personnel and training managers
  • Partner with hotel managers, transportation coordinators, and restaurant managers to secure reservations and oversee execution of arrangements
  • Oversee maintenance of common training spaces including inventory of equipment and training supplies
  • Manage costs and budgets
  • Coordinate and enter training agenda using training events applications
  • Order supplies needed for live and virtual training events
  • Manage catering needs for all departmental events that occur on site
  • Assist in various tasks to support training managers
  • Create logistical checklists for efficient and successful support of remote program implementation
  • PO creation and vendor management
  • Promote continual creative improvement and a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability
  • Process all approvals and payments for expenses incurred as a result of onsite or virtual training courses
  • Develop expertise in using existing technology solutions and drive the current strategy, implementation and adoption.
  • Work closely with Sales/Training team members to align system capabilities with overall training strategy and programs
  • Drive international roll out of platform; engage key business partners to adhere to risk/control expectations, procedures and processes.
  • Perform all duties of an analytics tool administrator including creating/managing account access, all site tagging and configurations, custom dashboards, and user training as requested
  • Establish appropriate key performance indicators and develop a reporting
  • Run regularly-scheduled analytics reports that contribute meaningful analysis and actionable insights
  • Create surveys and assessments to ensure competency and adoption of learning objectives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years experience in administrative role
  • Events planning experience
  • Strong ability to understand financial reports and organize internal subscription system
  • Strong ability to interpret data and make actionable business recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Organization and Planning Skills
  • Strong operating knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint computer applications
  • Proficient data analysis skills (quantitative and qualitative) and ability to identify themes and trends
  • A strong learning orientation, to quickly acquire new techniques, tools and methods
  • Strong ability to build senior level presentations and materials using PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Self-starter who is results-oriented with strong execution drive

JOB COMPETENCIES

Proficiency developing custom reports, advanced segments, and complex goals, and the interpretation and presentation of findings

Intermediate Excel skills and an ability to integrate disparate data sets into clear, concise reports

Ability to learn and use project management software

Strong attention to detail and a collaborative style

Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Flexible and open to change and new information

Customer service oriented with proven experience
