Job Description
UpMan Placements is inviting applications for an exciting career opportunity with one of our esteemed clients from the Medical Equipment Distribution industry.
Role: Technical Sales Manager
Reporting To: CEO
Location: Tanzania
Education: Bachelors in engineering in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Biomedical Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation.
Experience: At least 8 to 10 years of experience in independently handling pre-sales activities of Medical Equipment like MRI, CT, Digital X Ray, Digital Mammography, Cathlab, Ultrasound, Critical Care products of reputed manufacturers.
Role Responsibility:
- Should be responsible for in depth technical discussion/presentation of the above-mentioned equipment in various reputed healthcare; institutions in Tanzania and East Africa.
- Should be a product specialist for this equipment for the company and prepare the product comparison with the competition.
- Should be responsible in preparing technical compliance of RFQ of this equipment in both Public and Private tenders.
- Should be responsible to constantly coordinate with the Commercial Manager to close deals.
- Together with the Commercial Manager, the candidate should be jointly responsible to achieve the yearly sales Target of the company and also the target set by the manufacturer.
- The candidate should be responsible to regularly interact with the modalities of the Principal Companies to remain updated with the latest models/technology and also the offerings of the competition.
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with Tanzania region
- Strong technical know-how of high-end Medical Equipments
- Excellent communication skills
Contract Tenure: 2 years
