Your primary duty involves managing on-site medical facilities, responding promptly to emergencies, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. You will be responsible for overseeing the on-site medical resources, handling medical emergencies, conducting regular health assessments, and maintaining medical records. Collaboration with management and HR for employee health programs, offering medical consultation on occupational health hazards, and enforcing health and safety protocols are vital aspects of your role. Additionally, you will participate in workplace accident investigations, conduct medical emergency drills, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Your involvement in health policy development, coordination with external healthcare providers, and procurement of medical supplies will be crucial. Upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in all medical matters is imperative. Qualifications required for this position include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, a valid medical license, experience in occupational health, and certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Proficiency in industrial hygiene, the ability to work under pressure, strong communication skills, and knowledge of regulatory medical facility requirements are essential.
