- Join us as a Technical Business Analyst (Accounting) at Barclays, where you will be responsible for understanding and documenting the existing application, as well as identifying the migration scope and requirements. Your role will involve utilizing cutting-edge technology to develop and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure to ensure the seamless delivery of digital solutions. To excel as a Technical Business Analyst (Accounting), you should possess the following experience and skills: - Extensive experience in eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements, with a background in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies. - Proficiency in business process mapping, business process modeling, and modern technology. - Expertise in business solution design and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels. - Strong analytical skills and logical thinking to manage issues effectively in high-pressure environments. - Familiarity with System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile project environments, including tools such as Agile Central, JIRA, and Confluence. - Understanding of Business Analyst methodologies. Additionally, highly valued skills may include knowledge of the Accounting domain, migration strategies, and exposure to Tandem/Mainframe systems. In this role based in Pune, your primary purpose will be to support the organization in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and proposing solutions to address business challenges and opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying and analyzing business problems and client requirements necessitating change within the organization. - Developing business requirements to tackle business problems and opportunities effectively. - Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations. - Supporting the creation of business cases justifying investments in proposed solutions. - Conducting feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed solutions. - Providing reports on project progress to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of proposed solutions. - Designing operational and process solutions to ensure adherence to the agreed scope. - Supporting change management activities to facilitate successful implementation and integration of proposed solutions within the organization. As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to contribute to policy development, advise on decision-making, and ensure operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions and lead a team in executing complex tasks with professionalism and expertise.
