Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Specialist with deep expertise in distributed systems and network management. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in automation, SRE principles, and infrastructure tooling, along with a strong understanding of inventory and asset management processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage distributed infrastructure and network systems.
- Lead ServiceNow Discovery initiatives to ensure accurate asset and inventory tracking.
- Oversee license management and compliance across network devices and infrastructure assets.
- Apply SRE tenets to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Python to streamline infrastructure operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and drive continuous improvement.
- Utilise Power BI to create dashboards and reports for infrastructure metrics and asset insights.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards across all infrastructure components.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 810 years of experience in infrastructure and network management.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, network devices, and license management.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow Discovery, inventory, and asset management.
- Hands-on experience with SRE principles and automation tools (Ansible, Python).
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in network or infrastructure technologies (e.g., CCNA, ITIL, ServiceNow).
- Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
