Job Description

Role & responsibilities


  • Talent Acquisition & Sourcing: Identify staffing needs in collaboration with hiring managers. Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, events, and networking. Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future roles.
  • Candidate Screening & Selection: Review resumes and applications to shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens or video interviews. Assess candidates skills, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with department heads and hiring managers to define role requirements. Provide updates on hiring progress and candidate pipeline.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle from requisition to offer. Ensure smooth candidate experience and timely communication. Negotiate salary, benefits, and other offer details. Support onboarding processes in collaboration with HR.
  • Employer Branding & Engagement: Promote the company as an employer of choice. Represent the organization at job fairs, university events, and networking functions. Develop recruitment marketing strategies (social media campaigns, career site updates, etc.).
  • Maintaining Candidate Relationships: Recruiters build and maintain relationships with candidates, even those who are not selected for a particular role. They may keep in touch with candidates for future opportunities or referrals.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems (ATS). Ensure recruitment practices comply with labor laws and diversity & inclusion standards. Track and report recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, etc.).
