Job Description
Role Responsibilities :
- Perform SharePoint system administration tasks, including server provisioning, configuration management, patch management and infrastructure automation.
Well versed with developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts required for administrative activities and various automation tasks (deployment, monitoring, backups).
Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps practices.
Collaborate daily with developer teams, QA, operations to build and operate environments across Lifecycles.
Monitor & optimize system performance, identify and resolve issues, and ensure system availability and reliability.
Be a custodian of the implementation of deployment pipeline; ensure all teams are following best practices from dev/test environments through to production.
Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure security & compliance, and seamless integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, working closely with development teams to address application-related problems.
Automating manual deployments for all applications where possible
Designing and developing a strategic solution architecture for DevOps tolling and integrating it into Azure DevOps Services.
Required Education, Qualifications, and Experience Settings:
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology
4-6 years' experience of SharePoint Administrator / DevOps experience
Essential:
- SharePoint administration and cloud reliability engineering hands-on experience.
Proficient in using Azure DevOps Services and infrastructure automation.
Experience in deploying and managing applications in Azure environments.
Well-versed with cloud technologies, managing server build and operate environments across Lifecycles.
Strong team player with experience in reliability engineering or IaaS/cloud architecture groups.
Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, including ability to articulate solutions to a senior as well as a detailed/technical audience.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies, learn quickly and pass on this knowledge onto other team members.
Working knowledge of DevOps/Application Lifecycle Management tools, particularly Azure DevOps Services, automation and methodologies used to deploy solutions within a Cloud platform and on-premises.
Preferred:
- Azure DevOps Engineer certified and/or Azure Solutions Architect certified.
You have worked as part of an agile development team and have used Azure DevOps Services to manage deployment/operations from end-to-end.
Proven track record of managing cloud environments from setup to deployment using automated processes.
Experience in the automation of creating infrastructure using technologies such as ARM templates.
You invest in your own develop by staying up to date on technology changes and have a broad awareness of wider technology trends.
Understanding of security best practices and automating these standards as part of the release process.
