Job Description
- As an Automation Tester in the Commodities Technology team, you will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and implementation of UI automation test suites. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. - Develop and maintain automation scripts within established frameworks for UI testing - Participate in creating test plans and test cases for functional and end-to-end testing - Execute automated tests and conduct initial analysis of results - Report defects, monitor them through the resolution process - Assist with manual testing when necessary - Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams including QA, Dev, and Product Teams To excel in this role, you should have: - 8-13 years of hands-on experience in QA automation - Strong programming skills in JavaScript/Typescript - Familiarity with UI automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright - Understanding of BDD concepts and Cucumber - Knowledge of the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern - Experience using Git for version control - Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Good verbal and written communication skills Preferred skills for this role include: - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, or Kubernetes - Domain knowledge in financial markets - Experience with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, and MongoDB If you require a reasonable accommodation due to disability for using search tools or applying for a career opportunity, please review Accessibility at Citi.
