- Perform cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical tools.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and disinfectors.
- Adhere to established protocols for infection control and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of sterilized items and report any discrepancies.
- Assist in inventory management of instruments and supplies within the CSSD.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies regarding sterilization and maintenance of instruments.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to understand equipment needs and ensure timely availability. Skills and Tools Required:
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures.
