Role & responsibilities
Fixtures- Design Engineer
Qualification:
Master/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering with 3-5 years of industry experience in designing complex Test fixtures and state-of-the-art Automated test equipment.
Strong experience with SolidWorks, AUTOCAD and similar CAD software packages.
Key involvement in pioneering hands-on technical projects as both an individual contributor and as a team
Familiarity with adjacent engineering disciplines is a bonus i.e., Electrical, Software Engineering, etc
Strong technical communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills.
Knowledge of advanced machining techniques.
Experience building effective and scalable and empowering processes for the following activities: system design; design documentation; manufacturing documentation; operations documentation; design reviews; engineering change management; safety review is desired
Responsibilities:
Design complex & innovative Automated Test systems & Test fixtures using SolidWorks.
Need to work cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and External vendors.
This role is suited for hands-on, problem solver engineers who are interested to work in a fast-paced environment and learn from a strong engineering team while adding value to the assigned projects.
Activities including designing, drafting, and manufacturing Automated Test system components & assemblies; communicating with stakeholders; ensuring the teams have resources to meet objectives
