Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop fixture concepts based on product drawings, welding sequences, and assembly process flow

Select appropriate clamping methods (manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, magnetic) based on operational requirements.

Design fixtures for complex geometries, multiple parts, or high-accuracy assemblies.

Design fixtures compatible with various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Spot Welding, Robotic Welding, etc.).

Work closely with manufacturing engineers, welders, and quality engineers to refine fixture designs.

Coordinate with suppliers for manufacturing of fixture components

Qualification:

Master/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering with 3 years of industry experience in fixture design for welding and assembly operations.

Proficiency in Any softwareKnowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis

Understanding of welding processes and metallurgy

Familiarity with pneumatic/hydraulic systems and standard fixture components.
