Software Developer in Test - Contract Hiring @ Golden Opportunities

Job Description

As a Software Developer in Test (SDET) for this role, your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for database and backend testing. - Creating and executing test cases for stored procedures, triggers, and database functions to validate business logic and data consistency. - Implementing mocking techniques to simulate database interactions and isolate testing components. - Developing and maintaining unit and integration tests using mocking frameworks such as Mockito, JMock, or WireMock. - Collaborating with development and DevOps teams to integrate database tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. - Performing SQL query validation to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple environments. - Working with API testing to validate database interactions using tools like Postman or Rest Assured. - Implementing data-driven and schema validation tests to verify database changes. - Researching and implementing best practices for database testing, data virtualization, and test data management. - Demonstrating strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and stored procedure testing. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - 9+ years of experience in a similar role. - Notice period of immediate to 30 days.
