Job Description

    As a Competence Management Professional for Compression at Siemens Energy, you will be part of a dedicated team driving competence management and development for the Compression business. Your role will involve enabling employees and managers to evaluate their skills, develop competencies, and foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization. - Stay informed about standard processes in competence management and learning & development to recommend improvements - Generate reports to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement in employee skills and competencies - Capture feedback from users to enhance the functionality and usability of the competence management platform - Provide guidance and support to employees and managers in using the platform optimally - Assist in implementing the competency framework that supports employee development - Collaborate with the Global Competence Manager to define and refine competencies required for various roles - Input and maintain comprehensive role descriptions and associated skills in the competence management platform while ensuring data privacy and confidentiality laws are respected You are expected to: - Work collaboratively in a team environment, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Possess excellent written and verbal English language skills - Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Have familiarity with competence management systems or platforms - Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or similar field - Have 2-5 years of proven experience in competence management, skills assessment, or data management Siemens Energy's Transformation of Industry division is focused on decarbonizing the industrial sector and enabling the transition to sustainable processes.
