Job Description

    As a Management Trainee in the Finance Organization at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in managing Supply Chain Cost and supporting key decision making through cost analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for various tasks including period end close, management reporting, inventory accounting, GL reconciliation, and monitoring daily deliveries. Your expertise in cost accounting and ERP systems like SAP will be essential in ensuring accurate financial records and inventory management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform period end close activities such as journals, reporting, and variance analysis. - Manage the month-end close process and ensure all reconciliations are completed. - Conduct GL reconciliation and inventory accounting reconciliations. - Coordinate activities to ensure service level adherence. - Monitor daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory records. - Maintain and update inventory records and check inventory costs. - Understand costing processes in a warehouse/manufacturing setup. - Manage period close activities at warehouse/manufacturing locations. **Qualifications Required:** **Minimum Qualifications / Skills:** - Cost Accountant (Inter/Final) or MBA Finance or M.Com or Graduate. - Experience with SAP or similar ERPs (Oracle, JDE, SAGE, BPCS, PRMS, etc.) is a must. - Ability to work in shifts (24x7). - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word. **Preferred Qualifications / Skills:** - Strong accounting knowledge in both Management Reporting and Financial Reporting. - Eagerness, dedication, and extra energy to be effective in the role. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Familiarity with the Blackline tool for Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation.
