Job Description
- As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Test Automation, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright. You will proficiently write automated tests in TypeScript or JavaScript, working within a Node.js environment and utilizing npm for package management. Your role will also involve comprehensive API testing using tools like Postman, executing performance tests with tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar, and analyzing the results. Collaboration with development teams and other QA engineers is crucial for successful troubleshooting and debugging of automated tests and application issues. Additionally, you will contribute to test planning, strategy, and continuous improvement of the automation process to ensure high-quality software releases. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright. - Write automated tests proficiently in TypeScript or JavaScript. - Work effectively within a Node.js environment, utilizing npm for package management. - Perform comprehensive API testing using tools like Postman. - Execute performance tests using tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar, and analyze results. - Utilize test and defect management tools like Jira for tracking test cases, execution progress, and bugs. - Collaborate closely with development teams and other QA engineers. - Troubleshoot and debug automated tests and application issues. - Contribute to test planning, strategy, and continuous improvement of the automation process. Qualification Required: - 7 to 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation. - Hands-on experience in writing automated tests using Playwright. - Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript is preferred for Playwright scripting. - Working knowledge of the Node.js environment and npm. - Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman. - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, etc.). - Familiarity with test and defect management tools like Jira. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills.,
